Have you had your A-License for less than 18 months, or do you have less than 150 jumps? This event is for you!
Fresh Meet is designed to give you a targeted goal to train towards, involve you with our experienced local community, and promote knowledge and safety. Next year’s boogie is March 18-22, 2026, at Skydive Perris in Southern California.

Fresh Meet 2026
Main Event – Saturday 3-way Competition
The main event kicks off Saturday with a 3-way competition. Each team is composed of two new jumpers and an experienced mentor. You’ll do four exciting skydives, but the competition won’t be only about the jumps! Points will be earned on the ground as well, with a series of escape room-style games, skill-based activities, and a scavenger hunt spirit.

All Access, All Event!
All five days will allow you access to the Perris excellent load organizers staff who can design jumps for your experience level. We are busy brewing fun social experiences like the Sky-Curious speed event, where you can meet experts in all the avenues you might explore in your future in skydiving, and a photo scavenger hunt for all four days. Enjoy access to gear manufacturer tents all weekend long. Everyone gets a goody bag, and if you register in time, a unique event T-shirt!
Fresh Funf’Air – Sunday freestyle fun
On Sunday, join us again for the Fresh Funf’Air for a go-at-your-own-pace challenge that allows you to pick and choose your activities the whole day. Your jumps can include popular skydives like hula-hoops, tracking jumps, and Mr. Potato Head dives. Collect all the Perris Patches! Have fun on the ground by trying on a real wingsuit, hungry-hungry hippo creeping, and more!
Mini Fury Tunnel Lab with Christy Frikken
Want to get some professional tunnel coaching? Join Christy Frikken at Perris Indoor for an appetizer-size version of her full tunnel camp. You’ll fly two ten-minute blocks in a and receive full prep and debriefs with Christy. So sharpen those skills up and be ready to rock the meet!
Canopy Course
Everyone wants to improve their canopy skills, and we wanted to provide a fantastic canopy coaching option for your experience at Fresh Meet. Register for this Freshlings-only canopy course and check all the boxes for your B-License!
Gear Rental
We have a limited amount of rental gear available, so if you need some, make sure you register early! Gear will be attributed on a ‘first registered, first serve’* basis (depending on size availability too, of course) in partnership with Gold State Gear.
* Priority will be given to the people who register for the whole event. Fresh Meet Gold State Gear Rental Special: Rent for four days, the fifth one is free!

Want to keep the party going? Ready to try real 4-way training? Hungry to boost your skills? Stay Monday after Fresh Meet and try a full day of 4-way training! No team necessary.
2026 Schedule
- Wednesday Practice jumps, free recurrency training, free load organizing
- Thursday/Friday Practice jumps, free load organizing, and optional add-on courses: canopy courses, tunnel camp with Christy Frikken, and water training course.
- Friday evening, Sky-Curious Speed Dating event
- Saturday, the main event! You will attend your first 3-way competition! Each team will be composed of 2 beginner jumpers (a.k.a. Freshlings) and an experienced mentor; you will make 4 jumps and participate in a huge scavenger hunt throughout the DZ to get your dives and extra bonus points.
- Saturday evening, stay for a drink and a massive raffle. Win stuff!
- Sunday, Skyvan jumps, high altitude jumps, and the Fresh FunfAir! Sunday is a go-at-your-own-pace day, allowing you to choose your activities throughout the day. The activities will include jumping games (Skyvan, high altitude, Mr. Potato head dives, Hula Hoops, Chicken Chokers…) in addition to short zany ground activities (Creeper races, Hungry Skydiving Hippos…). You will be given a game card at the beginning of the day. Fill it out by attending as many games as possible and earn the Perris Fresh Meet official patch!
