Poker Run (Elsinore)

What do skydiving, poker and tequila have in common? It’s Skydive Elsinore’s Poker Run! This California favorite event has been running for over 20 years!

During the competition, 6-way teams fly five rounds. After each round, a member of each team draws a poker card. After the judges score the rounds and hand out medals, it’s time to play the poker hand.The winner of the hand buys pizza for everyone, which is needed to soak up the tequila shots that the tequila master hands out for various infractions such as losing a bootie on exit or brain locking on a point.

This year, we are refurbishing this classic to welcome more non-drinkers and revive the after-meet social experience. Don’t worry, though – if you are a long-time fan, we’ll absolutely have Poker and tequila! Stay tuned for more details.
