Meet Christy Frikken

Hello I’m Christy.

I train skydivers who crave incredible formation skydiving.

I give them the tools to fly like a champ and score more points while sprinkling a healthy dose of fun.

I’ve got:

• Lots of competition experience on professional teams SDC Rhythm XP and Perris Fury
• Ratings: AFF Instructor, Pro-Rating, Former IBA Wind Tunnel Instructor Level 2
• Experience and ability to coach in all iFly tunnels (corporate and private)
• 16,000 jumps and 21 years in the sport
• Records: Women’s world record holder, Women’s Sequential world record captain, IL State Women’s largest formation and sequential records chief organizer
• 2007 Skydiver of the year

And when I am not coaching people in the wind tunnel and helping teams, I can be found vegging out with Assassin’s Creed, running, watching cooking reality shows, and tinkering with computers.

• My nickname around Perris is Crispy Chicken
• I was a software engineer for 8 years before becoming a pro skydiver
• My first US Nationals team scored a 4.4 average in intermediate and it absolutely rocked.
• I love playing board games and I’ve built my own gaming table
• I have lived in Minnesota, New York, Pourstmouth UK, Arizona, and California
