Remote Coaching

Expert Feedback Wherever You Are

Can’t make it out to a big dropzone to train? With remote coaching, you can upload your jumps to your favorite service and receive feedback from afar. While not the perfect situation from the hands on experience, it provides an economical option for groups without access to a local professional coach.

Teams will submit the dives they would like feedback on, and Christy Frikken will record a voice over with annotation on each dive. Typical videos are between 3-12 minutes, and will address your specific questions, exits, flying, block technique, and training strategy.

If you repeat skydives, you will probably want to submit the second in each set. If you expect to submit videos for your full season, Christy can make a dive plans for you and watch some of your prep videos as part of the process.

For a short example, watch here.

Christy's coaching offers so much more than simply learning the dive pool--to fly well, one needs to engineer appropriately, walk purposefully, clearly understand the formations, recognize the role each flyer plays, and think. But even more to the point, each person coached receives personal attention to develop their skill, celebrating successes and examining weaknesses.
